Genetic Portrait of the Dolgans of the Anabar River

In this study we describe the genetic features of the Dolgans of the Anabarsky ulus of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and their genetic relationships with neighboring populations of Yakutia and the Krasnoyarsk Krai. An analysis of the features of the Anabar Dolgan gene pool in comparison with the Dolgans from Taimyr based on the Y-chromosome and mtDNA polymorphism showed significant genetic differences between them, which are more pronounced in the diversity of Y-chromosome lineages.
